Dale Care’s Winter Newsletter 2025/26

Welcome to our Winter Newsletter for 2025/26! See what we’ve been up to this winter across our offices and extra care schemes!

Charity Fundraising

‘Wear It Pink’ Day

In support of Breast Cancer Now, many of our offices took part by wearing pink, organising a pink themed raffle and selling pink baked goods to help raise funds, promote awareness of breast cancer, and show appreciation for the incredible work the charity does.

Events at our Extra Care Facilities

Christmas Celebrations

We got in the festive spirit and celebrated Christmas across our extra care facilities, from having the Singing Santa’s visit us, local primary school choirs and Christmas crafts. Thank you to everyone who made these events so special!

Team Meetings and Training Sessions

Here are some photos from the Team Meetings we’ve had since the last Newsletter. Team meetings are very beneficial to both carers and office staff and give the carers the opportunity to talk about any issues they are having, training needs or upcoming company news.

We continue to offer Induction and Refresher Training to all our carers and we hope that you all find this helpful and informative. Training sessions take place in Durham, Teesside and Gateshead.

Compliments

Here are some of the excellent compliments that we have received over the last couple months.

“Leanne Waterson is incredibly approachable, always checks in to make sure I’m alright, especially before adding calls, I’m incredibly grateful for her.”

We received a compliment for Karen Green and Toni Barr for their teamwork and dedication!

“Valerie Gardner and Zeldra Hamilton work on overnight responders and always make time to call me when I’m on nightshift to see if I’m okay. They go above and beyond for their service users.”

These are just a few of the ones we have received, we’re always so happy to hear the great things our service users and their families have to say!
