Dale Care’s Summer Newsletter 2025
Welcome to our Summer Newsletter for 2025 to see what we’ve been up to this summer across our offices and extra care schemes!
Events at our Extra Care Schemes!
We hosted several events over the Summer at our different extra care facilities, including BBQ and karaoke at Lawson House, a Family Fun Day at Barnaby House, and an Ice Cream Van visiting our Redcar extra care schemes!
‘Wear It Orange’ Day
In support of The Care Workers’ Charity, many of our offices joined in for the second year of ‘Wear It Orange’ Day. The Care Workers’ Charity supports carers, offering mental health support and crisis grants for those who are in need. Thank you to everyone that got involved!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
To raise money in support of those battling cancer, we hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning across multiple of our offices. Many of us brought in cakes which were available by donating to such a great cause. Thank you to everyone who got involved!
Team Meetings and Training Sessions
Here are some photos from the Team Meetings we’ve had since the last Newsletter. Team meetings are very beneficial to both carers and office staff and give the carers the opportunity to talk about any issues they are having, training needs or upcoming company news.
We continue to offer Induction and Refresher Training to all our carers and we hope that you all find this helpful and informative. Training sessions take place in Durham, Teesside and Gateshead.

Compliments
Here are some of the excellent compliments that we have received over the last couple months.
During visits from one of our Care Coordinators, we received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from our service users families about our care staff in Boldon!
A service user wanted to let us know she thinks Claire Bryant is a lovely carer, is excellent at her job and has requested Claire as much as possible.
“I am sure his quality of life would have been much less without her caring nature and expertise. You have a real star working for you in Joyce Clark.”
These are just a few of the ones we have received, we’re always so happy to hear the great things our service users and their families have to say!
Reviews
Here are some of our recent reviews on Indeed and Google from our employees. Thank you to all of those that have left us a review as we appreciate them all!
“I started my journey with Dale Care in February 2008, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling parts of my life. Being a carer isn’t just a job—it’s a calling, and Dale Care has given me the opportunity to live that every single day. Over the years, I’ve built incredible bonds with the service users I support and their families. It’s a privilege to be welcomed into people’s homes and to play a part in helping them feel safe, cared for, and valued. Every smile, every thank you, and every small moment of connection makes this role so meaningful.”
Google Review
“Excellent workplace culture. Colleagues really helpful. Training was really impactful. Very progressive management team. Shadowing of colleagues who have done the job is really insightful.”
